Biography

Born and still residing in Southeastern Massachusetts, I have always had a love for education, art, and exploring the unknown. I started out my career pursuing Art, gaining my Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design from The New England Institute of Art in Brookline Massachusetts. Quickly shifting gears to my first job out of college, I worked at a start-up now formerly known as Wayfair.com in Copley Square, Boston. Learning to shifts gears on the fly and exploring my way through different roles over a 6-year period, Wayfair was a great first stop on my career path. Later, I put both my artistic and business skills to use working as the Operations Manager for a small non-profit print company for the Archdiocese of Boston where I developed a love for serving the church and school community. What originally started out as a side job, teaching English to young children in China online, turned into a renewal of my passion for education. Fast forward to today, I have been afforded the incredible opportunity to work for MIT with Dr. Asegun Henry’s talented research team. While at MIT, I am proud to not only support their research from behind the scenes but also contribute to MIT’s mission for the pursuit of higher knowledge. In my free time I enjoy photography, yoga, traveling, and am also working to pursue a higher degree in my field.
