Biography
Dr. Mouhamad S. Diallo is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, specializing in solid-state batteries. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering from Iowa State University.
Prior to joining MIT, Dr. Diallo conducted research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where his work on dendrite formation and mitigation in solid-state electrolytes significantly advanced the understanding of electrolyte failure and the characterization of Li-metal dendrites. At MIT, his research focuses on high-temperature battery technologies, including the innovative triple-phase flow battery.
